Fandom & Form is a live performance art showcase where participating artists create original works inspired by a model cosplayer, all within a strict 25-minute time limit. Each artist brings their own style, medium, and interpretation.
At the center of it all is cosplay as a living reference. The model stands on stage, embodying the craft, dedication, and detail that defines the art of costume design, celebrating cosplay as performance art.
At the end of the showcase, completed artworks will be available for purchase. Attendees have the rare opportunity to acquire a piece created live at the event, a one-of-a-kind artifact tied to that exact moment on stage. You can support artists and cosplayers by attending this performance and to cheer on your favourite artist.

Jacob McManamy is a Toronto-based Illustrator, Designer. From working with New Blood Interactive, to Drawing and developing the Ongoing The Bekkoning comic series. As he states “art tends to be a solitary en devour, done in dark corners and out of view of the public. It's easy for us to forget that to a majority of people what we do is a novel thing, that the art the population consumes doesn't just magically appear out of the ether”
MakeitredArt is an artist that makes Anime and Video Game merch ranging from; Prints, Stickers, Keychains, Pins, and more! Known for the use of vibrant colors and expressive characters she creates in her unique style.
Jakface is a freelance artist with a colourful pop art pinup style that has experience making commissions for people, drawing on livestream, drawing portraits in person, and more! with live drawing experience at the Wacom booth at Fan Expo Canada, and winning a Wacom artist showdown at Rose City Comic Con.They are also very much against AI art.
Nancy of Nancy Z Art is a mixed-media illustrator and comic creator. With an expressive body of work through digital and analog and formats. Artworks have been featured in publications worldwide, and alongside musicians and authors. Nancy's work has been in exhibitions and collections, including Scotiabank Arena's permanent art collection.
