Looking for a place to take a break between quests? This fall, Toronto Game Expo is bringing an all-new interactive experience to the show floor with GHOST GiRL's Tiny Tavern, a charming tabletop-inspired café hosted by the creative team behind GHOST GiRL GOODS.
Inspired by the world of Dungeons & Dragons, Tiny Tavern is an immersive adventure where every guest becomes part of the story. Join GHOST GiRL and her cast of friends as they welcome you into a cozy fantasy tavern filled with games, treats, and unforgettable moments.
Unlike a typical convention activity, Tiny Tavern is designed as an intimate, interactive experience. Each table is hosted by one of the GHOST GiRL GOODS mascots, creating a fun and personal atmosphere where guests can laugh, play, and connect with fellow adventurers.
Throughout the experience, you'll take part in a series of easy-to-learn tabletop-inspired mini games featuring dice, teamwork, and a little bit of luck. Whether you're a longtime tabletop RPG fan or simply looking for something unique to experience at the expo, Tiny Tavern offers a welcoming space for everyone to join in.
Every ticket also includes an exclusive keepsake to remember your visit as well as a themed take-home treat. Not to mention, you may earn additional prizes and surprises.
Adventure awaits inside GHOST GiRL's Tiny Tavern. If you're looking for one of the most unique experiences at Toronto Game Expo, gather your party, pull up a chair, and prepare to roll the dice!
About GHOST GiRL GOODS
As both a clothing brand and community event host, GHOST GIRL GOODS strives to use their passions and storytelling to produce fashionable products and fun filled experiences for all. A member of the cosplay community since 2008 and an active member of the global J-Fashion community since 2017, owner Alexia hopes to continue to deliver both fashion and fun wherever she finds herself. Tiny Tavern continues that tradition by creating an experience that feels equal parts fantasy role-playing session, interactive theatre, and cozy café gathering. Previous themed café experiences have become fan favourites for their memorable characters, lighthearted storytelling, and interactive gameplay.

The Tiny Tavern sounds like a brilliant addition to Toronto Game Expo, especially for anyone who enjoys tabletop-inspired experiences and gaming culture. I like how the D&D theme gives visitors somewhere fun to relax between exploring the event and checking out different games. It also reminded me how much portable gaming can add to that sort of experience, with the R36 Plus being a handy option for enjoying retro titles wherever you are. The combination of social activities, gaming and a themed setting should make the expo feel even more engaging for visitors.
Outdoor events in Canada during late fall or early spring are always a test of endurance, particularly when local conventions try to recreate atmospheric cozy venues like a tabletop tavern. While the concept of gathering in a D and D inspired setting sounds great, the reality usually comes down to whether the venue can maintain a tolerable temperature. I attended a similar outdoor setup last year, and the ambient heat was poorly managed, which ruined the experience despite the impressive theme. If organizers are setting up temporary spaces for these events, they need reliable gear. Anyone planning open air gatherings or studying outdoor heating solutions should check patio heaters for Canadian winters to understand the actual heat output requirements needed…
