1. Please send us an email (support@torontogameexpo.ca) about the position you’re interested in, a little bit about you and why you think you’re the right person, and the number of hours you can commit to each week.
2. We will schedule a 30m interview with you and answer any questions you may have about the role.
3. You will receive the status of your application within 1 week of the interview.

Registration Assistant - Panels
This is for an early riser who can attend on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You will be landing check-in for panels, workshops leads, meetup hosts, and event/programming and then informing the staff via chat upon arrival.
Volunteer Captain
Between Friday - Sunday, you will be managing volunteers during the whole day, checking in, planning breaks, filling roles as needed and making sure that they are comfortable with their positions. The ideal candidate will have completed their AODA training before the start of their shift, as well as be available for volunteer orientation (date TBD). Be prepared to be on your feet all day putting out fires where needed.
Program Assistant - Cosplay Stars
Be the organized brains of our keystone event, Cosplay Stars. Create paperwork, manage registrations, assist operations during pre-judging, update the Run of Show and manage contestants. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our stage, judges and hosts to make Cosplay Stars a reality!
Program Assistant - Cafe:Social Game Devs
Our Developer Coffee event on Sunday is the perfect start to a nice and chill morning. We need an assistant to ensure that our registration and sign-in process is smooth. We need you to make sure that the mic is working, that the materials are printed, and that the food/coffee is set up properly and cleaned up.
TCG Teacher - Pokemon or One Piece TCG
Are you familiar with the rules of Pokemon and/or One Piece? We are hosting a How To Play and Let’s Play and need your help to teach and answer attendee questions. Our ideal teacher is enthusiastic and loves meeting new people. You do not need to have your own deck but it can help if you want to bring your own cards.
Program Lead - Social Media
You will connect, evaluate and manage social media influencers to help highlight Toronto Game Expo on TikTok, IG, X and more. This role allows you to work with many of our media partners to ensure that the right people are covering the event.
Artist Alley Panel
Help us keep Artist Alley authentic. Review submissions to flag stolen or AI-generated art and ensure every booth brings their own original work. Only open for existing artists who have already exhibited before at Toronto Game Expo. Please review our new Artist Alley Guidelines before applying for this position.
Web Designer
Are you good at digital design in Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva? We are looking for people who can take our walls of text, source relevant photos, and create a much more aesthetically pleasing layout for our websites.
Event Photographer / Videographer
Sometimes we have specific events that just need more coverage. Show us your candid photos of other events to be considered as an event photographer or videographer.
Registration Lead
Love logistics? You’ll lead the VIP experience: stuffing swag bags, organizing check-in materials, and keeping our front line running smoothly. Precision and hustle are your best friends here.

Panel Manager Lead
Keep our panels running like clockwork! You'll connect with panelists, manage time, and make sure sessions stay on track. If you're organized, calm under pressure, and love live events, this is your stage.
Operations Lead
Be the calm in the chaos. You’ll coordinate crowd flow, manage lineups, and troubleshoot on the fly. If you’ve got strong instincts and a take-charge attitude, we need you on the floor.Supply CoordinatorKeep our crew running on good vibes, enough office supplies, and full stomachs. Make sure guests & staff have all the things they need, are hydrated, and energized throughout the event. This includes managing meal tickets and schedules, coordinating food delivery or pickups, tracking dietary needs, and ensuring pens, papers, and office supplies are stocked and accessible.
Event Feedback Lead
Perfect for a marketing student or professional. Join the core team to learn about our event planning process, build our feedback loop, and help us collect vendor, artist, guest, attendee and volunteer feedback. Ensure we then follow up with each group of people to show how we’ve implemented solutions to their pain points. May also join us to promote Toronto Game Expo at other events.
