Café Social: Game Devs – Round 4

- 2 min read

Sunday, 9:30–11:00 AM • Toronto Game Expo
Come for the coffee. Stay for the conversations. Café Social continues to be one of the easiest ways to meet fellow developers and start your Toronto Game Expo Sunday on the right note.
Before the show floor fills with players, tournaments, and buzzing booths, Sunday morning at Toronto Game Expo begins with something quieter. Café Social: Game Devs – Round 4 brings developers together over coffee to build community and encourage conversation.
Registration Deadline
To manage attendance and maintain a comfortable environment, ticket sales will close on March 25th, 2026. To attend, all attendees must have a valid Sunday or Weekend pass.
The past rounds of Café Social brought together indie developers, studio professionals, students, and industry veterans for relaxed networking before the expo opens. Attendance has grown significantly each round, and the response from the community has been overwhelming.
Because of this demand, we’re streamlining the experience for Round 4 to make check-in smoother and networking easier for everyone attending.
Updated Registration Process
This year introduces a simplified registration system designed to reduce lineups and get developers into conversations faster.
When you arrive:
Enter through the main doors
At registration, mention that you are attending Café Social.
Show your QR code from your ticket.
Pick up your name tag at the Dev Coffee area.
Once you have your name tag, you’ll be able to grab coffee and refreshments and start connecting.
Access for Showcase Developers
Developers who have purchased a table in the Indie Dev Showcase or Tabletop area will automatically receive access to Café Social. If you are exhibiting at the event, you can skip steps 1-3 and just pick up your name tag. Only 2 developers per table may attend.
